Today we started the day mostly cloudy with a few spotty showers but some of us are now seeing showers and storms as a cold front moves through the area. The storms will wind down after ten. Overnight lingering showers are possible as well as fog. Lows will fall into the upper 50s. Tomorrow we could have a few lingering showers for the morning but most of us will be dry. We will see increasing sunshine as the front continues east and high pressure builds in from the west. We are going to be cooler tomorrow since we will be behind the front. Highs will only make it into the mid-upper 60s. It will be a very windy day with winds from the northwest at 15-20 mph. with gusts as high as 30 mph. High pressure is in control for the weekend. This means the weather will be calm and we will see lots of sunshine. Temperatures will make it into the low 70s both Saturday and Sunday. There is only a slight chance for a stray shower on Monday; otherwise the Memorial Day holiday looks pleasant. Expect a mix of sun and clouds and temperatures climbing into the mid-70s. Tuesday we have a chance for afternoon showers and storms with highs in the upper 70s. Wednesday and Thursday we climb into the low 80s under a mix of sun and clouds. There is only a slight chance for an afternoon shower or storm both days.
