Today was another warm and humid day with highs topping out in the low 80s. We enjoyed the sunshine for most of the day but now some showers and storms are developing. Overnight the unsettled weather will wind down. Lows will be in the upper 50s to low 60s under mostly cloudy skies with a few spotty showers and fog developing. The frontal boundary bringing us the shower and storm activity will remain over the region through the weekend. An upper level disturbance will also come into play as it rides along this front from west to east, bringing us a greater chance for wide-spread shower and storm activity this weekend, especially during the afternoon and evening hours. The rain becomes more isolated for the work week. Only hit-or-miss showers and storms are possible Monday through Thursday. Temperatures will reach the mid-70s Saturday & Sunday. Highs will be in the 80s Monday through Thursday, then the upper 70s Friday.
