Holiday Wine and Cocktails

The food is usually the star of the holidays, but Hunter Johnson from Lucky Restaurant shares a few cocktail recipes that will wow your guests.

Here's the recipes:

Vieux Carre:

-1 oz Brenne French Single Malt Whisky

-1 oz Maraska Plum Brandy

-1 oz Cocchi Vermouth

-.25 oz Benedictine

-2 Dashes Bitter Truth Jerry Thomas Bitters

-2 Dashes Bitter Truth Aromatic Bitters

Prep:

Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing glass over ice and stir. Serve over ice in a rocks glass.

French 75

-1 oz Maraska Plum Brandy

-1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice

-1 oz Simple Syrup

-2 dashes of Bitter Truth Orange Bitters

Prep:

-Combine all of the ingredients in a Boston Shaker filled with Ice.

-Shake

-Serve in a chilled coupe or champagne glass.

-Top with 2 oz of Sparkling white wine or Champagne.

-Garnish with a twist of lemon

 

The Fall Classic

-2 oz of Berentzen's Bourbon

-.5 oz of Berentzen's Apple Liqueur

-.5 oz of Apple Spice Syrup

-.5 oz of Fresh Lemon Juice

-.5 oz of Cherry Heering

Prep:

-Combine all of the ingredients into a Boston Shaker filled with ice.

-Shake

-Serve in a chilled Cocktail glass with a slice of apple for garnish.
