ROANOKE, VA - Some little voters had a hard decision to make on Election Day 2016 choosing between Chocolate Chip or Oreo. The voters went into their own polling booths at the HoneyTree Early Learning Center on 460. The polls opened early at 6:15 am and voters filed in throughout the morning.

HoneyTree reported the campaigns have been a bit "crumby" but it was a good election season for Chocolate Chip and Oreo.
"Having this type of mock election allows our children to be involved in the voting process," says Corrie Prater, HoneyTree Director of Marketing. "Everyone from our Pre-K kids to our After School students participated. I am secretly pulling for Oreo but it's not looking good."
The winner was declared Chocolate Chip by a landslide and will be served for snack Wednesday.
