McDonald's employees appreciate customer school supplies donations

LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) -  Local students need everything from notebook paper to backpacks to make sure they are ready to learn.

"The community really comes together when there is a need so we really appreciate our customers," said Courtney Cooper, McDonald's area supervisor. "It's really special and I know it will bring a smile to the kids faces, to our staffs faces and to our owner/operators just knowing that we were able to partner with the community to promote this back to school drive."

You can donate to the 10 Cares McDonald's School Supplies Drive now through Sunday, August 7th inside more than 50 local McDonald's. Look for the donation box near the register.
