Two Danville students charged with multiple counts of burglary and a firearm offense.

DANVILLE (WSLS 10) - Police said two juveniles are in detention charged with multiple counts of burglary and a firearm offense.

On Friday, investigators went to George Washington High School to follow-up on burglaries that had occurred the previous day. Officers said two students were detained and one was found to have a firearm in his possession. Upon further investigation, authorities determined that the firearm was stolen from one of the burglaries. Both students were charged and are currently being held in the W.W. Moore, Jr. Juvenile Detention Home.

Due to the ongoing nature of the investigation, no additional information will be released at this time said police.
