Fans staying cool at Day 2 of Redskins camp with new gear

RICHMOND (WSLS 10) - It's day two of Washington Redskins training camp in Richmond and fans are sporting the team's gear as they prepare for the upcoming season.

You don't have to go far to see a variety of team gear.  Many are turning to bucket hats to beat the heat.

Whether they're burgundy with yellow trim or white with burgundy trim, the trend has resurfaced at Redskins camp.

Fans say aside from beating the heat they're also a good fashion statement.

"Of course it is. I'm looking good right? Come on, I'm surprised you asked that question. You know I'm looking good," said fan Rick Hill. "Yeah kind of matched the jersey. Old school."

Aside from the hats, jerseys are always a go-to. Redskin fan Shane had a Ryan Kerrigan jersey with a few autographs, but picked up another one.
