DANVILLE – Police arrest a man who they say threatened to burn a church down, and made threats to kill members of the congregation.
The Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Department arrested Roy Womack Saturday.

According to the Danville Police Department, charges were brought against the 51-year-old for communicating threats to burn a a church.
Womack is accused of using social media to make those threats as well as threats to kill individual members of the church beginning in February of this year.
Womack is also reported to be displaying signs of mental illness.
He is known to frequent the Greensboro, NC area and should be considered dangerous.
