In November 2015, a supervisor called for their help when a man collapsed playing basketball.

In surveillance video you can see the victim collapse to his knees and fall face down on the court.

Someone started CPR while Kayla and Taylor rushed in with their AED equipment.

"They did do a great job. It's probably the only reason he's alive, because they got there and started CPR as fast as they did," explained Roanoke County Paramedic/Fire Fighter, Ross French.

"It was a miracle he was able to live," Kayla said.

"I don't feel like a hero. I feel like I just kept a guy living and reunited him with his family," said Taylor.

Thankfully, the man who collapsed made a full recovery.
