Sheriff's Office asking for help after riding mower stolen from Bedford County church

Theft happened on Dec. 26

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. – The Bedford County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of a riding mower from a church on the day after Christmas.

A Cub Cadet Model ZF S54 riding mower, zero-turn style, was stolen from Jordantown Wesleyan Church, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Authorities are searching for a white Ford SUV with a silver brush guard and a black roof rack that appears to have off-road lights.

The SUV has no front license plate, and the windows are very dark.
