Three arrested, one wanted in connection with Bedford County armed robbery

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. – The Bedford County Sheriff's Office arrested three people and is searching for one more in connection with an armed robbery last month.

On Dec. 23, Bedford County 911 dispatchers received a call from someone on Marcus Trail in Big Island. The caller said three men entered his home and took several guns, as well as money.

The caller said he wasn't hurt during the incident.

As a result of the ongoing investigation, investigators have arrested Sherman Russell, 27, Otis Patterson, 27, and Lakeisha Trent, 23.

All three are from Lynchburg.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's help in locating another suspect, Doantorri Blake, 27, of Lynchburg.

All four are charged with armed robbery, grand larceny of firearms, grand larceny of money and using a firearm in the commission of a felony.

The three men also are charged with wearing a mask to conceal their identity and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
