ROCKY MOUNT, Va. – It was a special day for those with disabilities who participate in Goodwill programs as they had the chance to attend prom.
From hair and make-up to a limo ride and a red carpet entrance, guests in Rocky Mount received the full treatment thanks to donations from local businesses.
They even voted for their own prom king and queen.
Organizers said this provides a second chance for those who missed out on prom in high school.
