Top Girl Scout cookie sellers in Roanoke become CEOs for the day

The girls followed around council CEO for the day and had a business luncheon.

ROANOKE, Va. – For the fifth year in a row, some hard-working local Girl Scouts became CEO's for the day at Girl Scout headquarters in Roanoke.

The council's highest Girl Scout cookie sellers spent the day with the honorary title. The girls spent time with council's CEO Nikki Williams during her day performing the duties of the CEO for the day.

They were then treated to a special limousine ride and business luncheon at Hotel Roanoke.

"It's important for them to see themselves and see successful women, that's what this whole day is about. It's about surrounding them with women who have accomplished wonderful things so that they can see themselves on the path and meet those goals for them," said Williams.

The girls were also able to spend time with Miss Virginia's Outstanding Teen and Miss Virginia and area businesswomen.
