Missing Bluefield teen found

Brianna was missing since Sunday

BLUEFIELD, Va. – UPDATE: Brianna Spease was found and is safe, according to WVVA.

An officer with the Bluefield West Virginia Police Department made contact with her in the area of Bland Street in Bluefield, W.Va.

After being transported to the Bluefield Virgina Police Department, she was later reunited with her family.    


Law enforcement officials are asking for help finding a 14-year-old girl who has been missing since Sunday.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and Bluefield Police Department identified the missing teenager as Brianna Spease.

She is 5-feet-4-inches tall and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Ron and Marsha Spease, Brianna's parents, released this statement:

“This is every family’s worst nightmare and we are devastated. We are hoping and praying that Brianna is OK. We want our daughter to know that no matter what has happened, we love her and just want her to come home. We are begging, if someone has Brianna or knows where she is, please drop her off somewhere safe."

The Bluefield Police Department is concerned for Brianna’s welfare and asks anyone with information to call the department at 1-276-326-2621 or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.
