Front door of Danville store found shattered Tuesday morning

Shadowood burglarized; cash stolen

DANVILLE – A Danville convenience store has been robbed for the second time in less than a month.

Surveillance footage from inside the store aroud 5:45 a.m. Tuesday shows a man wearing a dark colored hoodie, blue jeans, and gloves using a hammer to bust out the glass on one of the store's front doors.

The man then uses the hammer to pry open the cash register.

When he sees that there's no money, he searches around until he finds some under the counter.

Surveillance video from May 25 shows a man wearing what appears to be the same clothing also using a hammer to break in and pry open the cash register.

Call Danville police if you have any information.
