Kids learn how to care for pets and how to be responsible pet owners.

This is the fourth year for the camp and the SPCA's executive director, Nichole Harris, said the camp grows every year.

Harris believes the camp has had a big impact on the kids.

"From each day, something they've learned from the day before they've brought back in information on the next day," said Harris.

"We've actually done some marketing campaigns and we were looking at McDonald's and Burger King, really recognizable marketing slogans. How they were able to kind of flip those and use them for animal welfare was just absolutely amazing," Harris continued.

There will be two more camps, one July 11-15 and one Aug. 8-12.
