DANVILLE, Va. – The Danville Police Department is crediting tips for helping it with a recent drug seizure.
Multiple agencies worked together and executed a gang recruiting search warrant in the 200 block of Plantation Road in the city on Monday.

While executing the warrant, the department said methamphetamine, a firearm, cash, evidence of narcotics distribution and gang paraphernalia were all seized.
Police said they arrested a wanted person on an outstanding felony warrant. Additional charges are pending for narcotics and firearms-related offenses
