(WSLS 10) - The funeral takes place today for a Carroll County Sheriff's Deputy who died on the job. Curtis Bartlett died in a car crash on Thursday while responding to a chase. The funeral begins at 2 p.m. at Galax First Baptist Church.

Lane closures will take place today on Routes 251 and 646 in Rockbridge County today. These closure will allow crews to replace a pipe. Flaggers will direct traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
