Life may taste better with a Coca-Cola, but your wallet will feel a bit lighter after buying one this come Labor day.
The company plans to raise prices on its drinkd in the United States after the symbolic end to summer. The move follows the company’s announcement of a $3.17 billion loss in the second quarter.
Coke’s CEO blames declining sales, and high commodities costs as factors in the price hike decision.
Coca-Cola also says it plans to review its supply chain, operations, and price strategy to improve its U.S. performance.
