Kroger plans to apply it’s upcoming no smoking policy to customers, employees, and delivery workers.
On November 1st, all Kroger Mid-Atlantic stores, offices, warehouses, and vehicles will go smoke free. According to a news release, this will include 20 feet to and from all Kroger facility entrances and exits. That would include loading docks.
Kroger sent out a notice to companies it does businesses with about the new policy. The company says it will be up to individual store mangers to decide if they will provide designated smoking areas, at least 20-feet away from the building.
Signs will be posted at Kroger stores to inform customers about the new policy.
