The CPSC and J.C. Penney is recalling about 24,000 pairs of newborn and infant denim pants.

The pants are “Arizona” brand and were sold at J.C. Penney stores nationwide and at http://www.jcp.com from July 2008 through October 2008 for about $15.

The metal snap at the waist can detach and pose a chocking hazard.

You can return the pants to any J.C. Penney store for a full refund and the pants bought on-line can be returned to any store’s catalog desk.

For more information, contact JCPenney toll-free at (888) 333-6063 anytime or visit JCPenney’s Web site at http://www.jcp.com
