Sprint said Monday it was releasing a software update for the Mogul phone, made by HTC Corp. of Taiwan, that will enable the phone to connect at Rev. A speeds. Downloads speeds should be 600 kilobits per second to 1,400 kbps. It will be capable of uploads of 350 to 500 kbps.
IRS advises Social Security beneficiaries on tax rebate
The tax agency said that starting next week it will begin sending out 10-page packages with filing instructions and a Form 1040A for the filer to complete. The package will go to people who may qualify for the economic stimulus payment enacted by Congress but who normally aren’t required to file a tax return.
