Local Man Arrested for Attacking Another Man

The Amherst Co. Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old David Cunningham, of Madison Heights on Saturday.
They say he went into a home on Boxwood Farm Road in Amherst and starting attacking a man inside.
But the victim fought back, and actually hurt Cunningham.
Cunningham was taken to a hospital for treatment.
He faces several charges and the investigation is ongoing.
