Local Woman Abducted and Assaulted

The Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office is searching for three people allegedly involved in abducting and assaulting a Martinsville woman.
Investigators say 21-year-old Ciara Johnson of Martinsville got into a car with 24-year-old Lecretia Preston of Axton and 26-year-old Lakendal Gravely on April 11th.
They say the women drove Johnson around for awhile and ended up at the Valero Convenience Store at Laurel Park.
22-year-old Jonathan Carter of Martinsville was aslo there.
They say the women then drove to Tommy Carter Rd. in Axton and Carter was also there with 26-year-old Dwayne Lampkins of Axton.
The four then allegedly assaulted Johnson inside and oustide of the car.
Eventually the two women drove Johnson back to her home.
Johnson was hurt and did go to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators say during the attack a cell phone and earings were stolen by Preston.
So far, Preston is the only one who has been arrested.
She’s being held at the Henry Co. Jail and is charged with Abduction, grand larceny, assault, and battery.
