An apple a day just might help keep Alzheimer’s away, according to a new study.

Researchers at Cornell University have found fresh fruit, especially apples,
bananas, and oranges, may protect against the neurodegenerative disease.
Lab tests showed phytochemicals in these fruits prevent neurotoxicity in brain
cells.
Researchers say those at risk of developing Alzheimer’s could benefit from
eating these fruits.  They say apples have the most protective antioxidants, followed by bananas, then oranges.
