When you hear Botox you think wrinkle control or possibly headache treatment.
But there is a warning about using it, especially in children.
You may think children?
Botox has been used to help relieve arm and leg muscle spasms in children with cerebral palsy. In the U.S. it is not FDA approved for that use.
The reactions they’ve gotten involve the toxin spreading from the place it was injected and then causing trouble swallowing. The deaths reported were mostly children getting treatment for the arm and leg spasms.
