WSLS knows healthcare is important to you, because you tell 10 On Your Side that is.
Whether you have insurance or not the cost to go to the doctor adds up and you want to keep your family healthy. The Bassett Family Practice is helping, because it is part of a government program that charges people only what they can afford. The grand opening is tuesday but they have already started seeing patients.
The director for the coalition for health and wellness tells us a person below 100 percent of the poverty level would get a 75-percent discount on fees.
That includes any labor work, office visits, and vaccines. This is not a free clinic. There are free clinics in our area and other resources in our area that may help you.
