Food recalls have different classifications

Typically, when we talk about food recalls we don’t stop to say, “Is that a class I or class II?“

As I was looking through the Virginia Department of Health’s website I found there are basically four different kinds of recalls.  A class I recall is the most serious and a Market withdrawal is the least serious.
