Remote Area Medical Expedition
Saturday-Sunday, October 4-5
Registration begins at 6 a.m. each day
Riverview Elementary/Middle School
Route 460, 5 miles west of Grundy
Free services for adults and children:
-Dental (cleaning, fillings, and extractions)
-Eye and hearing exams
-Fast track to eye glasses (bring your current eye glass prescription to avoid the wait for an eye exam)
-Medical (physicals, diabetes, medication assistance, cancer screenings, immunizations for children, blood work, pulmonary functions)
-Women’s health (mammograms, pap smears, breast and pelvic exams)*
Some test will only be performed if medically indicated (as determined by RAM clincians)
These services are for the uninsured, underinsured, unemployed, and those who cannot afford to pay
