A lighter side to the Storm Team

Okay… we all stay busy at WSLS..news… weather… sports… sales… you name it and we are all constantly working under deadline pressures… having meetings… but doesn’t everyone need to take a moment every now and then to just have a laugh and a little fun…

Jeff is not only a master at the forecast… but he is also just a fun guy to be around… as is illustrated by his best pirate face which he displayed as he explained that tomorrow/Friday is talk like a pirate day… as if I should have known that…

There is a day or month for just about anything and everything these days… if I try to talk like a pirate I sound like a sick goat… however Jeff is somewhat of a pro… I did an on-line search and sure enough some website pops up declaring that every September 19th is “International Talk Like a Pirate Day”

Well what do Pirates say other than “Arrrrrrrgh?“

Perhaps instead of “Pirate Looks at 40…“ we could coin our own version with the lyrics “Pirate looks at VIPIR…“  okay.. maybe not..
