As I was out and about today working on my stories for the news I was pleased to hear about the different holiday plans people have… most people are cooking out or spending time with their family… it is nice to come together with those you love to have a good time… eat some good food and just let the people you love know you care about them.
July 4th emphasizes that summer is really here… it let’s me know I am about to be a year older… but today one woman I interviewed put it in better perspective when she said… “We really need to make sure we remember our troops and our veterans today…“
We have so many freedoms that I couldn’t list them all on a blog of any length… and I am thankful for each one of them… if it were for people willing to fight for our freedom July 4th would be just another day.
Thank you to all of the men and women who defend us and our rights and to those who have served our country in the past!

You’re welcome. But really I think most servicepeople would tell you we were just doing our jobs in our chosen profession like everyone else.
