As the weather gets colder we are all making changes in our life… I have already started changing over my summer and winter clothes… as I pack up the summer clothes I realize I don’t have many fall sweaters and such… I recently donated a bunch of stuff to The Discovery Shop for the American Cancer Society and have just a couple of pairs of jeans and a handful of sweaters… I smell a shopping trip in my near future..

It is hard to say goodbye to shorts but I can tell the days of shorts and flip flops are nearing an end for me… some people wear them all year round.. I’m not that warm-blooded…

Today really got my attention… I went for a little run this morning and noticed I got chilled afterward… that hasn’t happen is a long time.. Then, I left the house without a jacket with the intention of walking downtown for coffee before I started my work day… I still walked downtown but should have opted for regular coffee instead of the iced kind…

I have also been looking for some new cold weather soup recipes… so far I’ve found what appears to be a good Seafood Bisque Recipe and a Hot 7 Layer Dip Recipe..

The weekend looks nice.. Matt and I are taking Luckie to the “Pooch Parade” the Franklin County Humane Society at Lake Watch Plantation.  Registration is at 9:00am and the walk is at 10:00… he is not much for distance so I am kind of hoping that it is just a stroll around the block…

How are you dealing with the weather change?
