Stormy weather

I am thankful for the rain but the storms are getting little ridiculous and scary… rarely are the storms so bad that you can hear them outside our building in downtown Roanoke… but earlier today the rumbles were strong and as I walked by one of our side doors the rain was coming down in sheets… our Storm Team 10 Meteorologists have been really busy… VIPIR Radar too… and it seems the hits keep coming…
Many people have even told us the loud rumbles of thunder make them scared of the possibility of tornadoes…
As Patrick was finishing up the forecast at 6:00 pm I was happy to see in the extended forecast a break from the storms for the weekend… I used to like a thunderstorm every now and then… I’m not sure about you but I have had my fill for a while…
Matt and I were just saying the other day that we did really get any bad storms last year… I guess this year is just getting us caught up…
