More than two dozen cats are seized from a Roanoke motel room.
Animal control got a tip that a woman was living with way too many cats at the Starlite Motor Lodge on Melrose Avenue.
Officers found 26 cats in the woman’s room Wednesday afternoon.
You can only keep 4 to 6 cats in the city.
The woman could be charges.
The cats are being checked out at the SPCA but they don’t have room for them and need foster and adoptive homes so they won’t have to put them down.
