A local family in need gets a generous gift.
We first told you Monday about Q-99’s goal to grant three wishes in the community.
Based on all the letters they got, the radio station decided to grant a wish to Anthony Rickman and his two kids who lost everything, including their wife and mother, in a house fire back in April.
Today, Dick Daniels and Dave Page presented the Rickman’s with thousands of dollars worth of gifts from the community at Read Mountain Middle School.
“It’s been unreal. I can’t put it into good words – just everything. It’s was supposed to have been one wish that the radio station did, and from the community it snow-balled,” Anthony Rickman said.
On Monday, Dick and Dave will reveal the grand total in gifts the Rickman’s received.
