A local fire station gets an upgrade.
The new addition to the Back Creek Fire and Rescue Station was dedicated Monday night in Roanoke County. The two-thousand square foot add-on includes more bays so emergency vehicles can leave faster. In the past some vehicles had to be moved before another vehicle could pull out.
There’s also a storage area for equipment.
