Biden event in Roanoke is free but tickets required

Democratic Vice Presidential nominee, Senator Joe Biden will be in Roanoke on Sunday for a community gathering. It’s free and open to the public but tickets are required. They’re available at the Campaign for Change office at 151 Campbell Avenue in downtown Roanoke.
They’ll be distributed on Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., but they are on a first-come, first-serve basis. If there are tickets left, the office will also give out tickets on Saturday morning between 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. The event will be Sunday at Century Park Plaza and the gates open at 11 a.m. The event begins at 12:30.
