Many workers at Carilion now have their checks in hand. This week we told you about Carilion’s direct deposit slip-up.
It’s what they called human error when an employee didn’t send electronic payroll data to Wachovia.
Earlier on Saturday, checks were given to employees in about a dozen different Carilion sites in our area.
Some men and women came to the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
That’s where Susan Anderson got her check, but said she had no worries.
“I’ve worked with Carilion for so long I knew that things would be worked out. It was just a human mistake; we’re all human,“ Anderson said.
Some employees we talked to said it was inconvenience for people who lived paycheck to paycheck; however, they didn’t want to go on camera.
