Roanoke City Public Schools recently selected two landscape firms to carry out beautification work at each school.  In light of the ongoing construction at William Fleming High School, work has not been contracted there at this time.  The landscaping will begin immediately in order to take advantage of the seasonal planting window.

The beautification initiative is intended to make a meaningful one-time improvement to the exterior appearance of each of our buildings.

Work will be completed by June 30.

This investment is intended to send a message to students, employees, and the community that RCPS is proud of its facilities.  It speaks to the importance of an attractive and welcoming learning environment and is a symbol of the optimism and growth that are increasingly hallmarks of RCPS.
