Crash flips SUV, blocks Grandin Road near Patrick Henry High School

An SUV flips this morning, blocking traffic near Patrick Henry High School on Grandin Road.
Roanoke City Police tell us the accident happened arund 9:22 a.m.
Officers say Linda Simpson was driving east on Carter Road when she crashed her Buick Century into an Saturn Vue SUV being driven by Elizabeth Kormanyos, who was driving south on Grandin Road.
Investigators charged Simpson with failure to maintain control.
EMS crews took Kormanyos and her two-year-old son to Roanoke Memorial Hospital as a precaution.
