Does you car fit? It’s a question many of us may have never asked, but for those over 65 it could be a life saver.
Tuesday, several elderly advocate organizations came together for Car Fit 2008.
Anyone heading into their golden years, stopped by for a 12 point checklist on making their vehicle “fit”. Organizers and drivers say it’s all about safety.
“It will make me a little more aware of it and that I’m doing some things pretty good, which satisfies me you know,” said a 97-year-old driver.
By 2030 more than 30 million drivers will be 65 or older. They are also the second most likely group to be killed in an accident.
