Former Glenvar band director admits to sex with underage girl

A former band director for Glenvar High School admits to having sex with a teenager.
Christopher Yates pleaded guilty to indecent liberties with a 17-year-old in Botetourt County Court this morning.
The judge sentenced Yates to serve six months in jail. Yates has already served 60 days, so he has four more months to go.
Investigators say Yates took indecent liberties with a child under his custodial authority between July and October of 2007.
