The Amherst County Sheriff’s Office and Safe Kids of Central Virginia will hold a free child safety seat check at the Madison Heights Lowe’s in conjunction with the Amherst County Public Safety Day on Saturday May 17th. Child safety seats will be checked from 10am until 2pm.
Parents should note that over 90 % of seats inspected nationally are found to have been improperly installed. Make sure your child is safe, come by and get your seat checked.
Qualified technicians will inspect your child’s safety seat and make sure it is installed properly, or they will assist you in correcting it.
