Roanoke County firefighters say the Green Ridge Mountain fire is virtually under control, and 100% contained.
Fire crews plans to keep an eye on hot spots, and patrol the fire lines in the northern section of the county. Firefighters warn people living near the fire that they may see some smoke and flames, as the hot spots burn themselves out within the containment lines.
