The third annual Harvest Festival got Roanokers ready for the fall season on Saturday. From painted faces, tractors and picking out pumpkins, the festival kicked off in the city market. Children got a chance to color and draw on pumpkins. Families took advantage of the good weather and the fun.

“The pumpkins, things for kids to do, the tractors, the band that they have playing down here. It’s a nice crisp morning, too, so it does feel like fall,“ said Joe Belch, who brought his family to the festival.
