John McCain’s brother Joe McCain apologizes after a comment he made during a rally in Northern Virginia yesterday.
During his campaign stop in Loudoun County yesterday Joe McCain referred to two democratic-leaning areas of Northern Virginia as communist country.
The navy veteran said “I’ve lived here for at least ten years and before that about every third duty I was in either Arlington or Alexandria, up in communist country.“
Joe McCain has since apologized and said the comment was meant as a joke.
The McCain-Palin Campaign says they are still dedicated to winning the votes of Northern Virginians.
