Blacksburg police arrested a man this morning for a stabbing.

It happened at Attitudes Bar & Grill, in the 900 block of Prices Fork Road around 1:20 a.m.

Police say two men were in a verbal fight that turned physical.

Police say one man, 21-year-old Jonathan Samuels pulled out a knife and stabbed a 21-year-old Virginia Tech student in the arm.  Police did not name the student.  Samuels was also cut on his finger.

EMS crews took both men to Montgomery Regional Hospital for treatment, and they were later released.

Officers brought Samuels before a Montgomery County Magistrate where he was charged with malicious wounding.  He’s being held in the Montgomery County Jail without bond.
