We will have another bout of winter weather across portions of the area Thursday night into Friday.  Here is the thinking right now:  areas along and near the West Virginia border will likely see 1-2”, with those higher totals possible in the higher elevations of the New River Valley.  Along the 1-81 corridor, we are looking at snow accumulations around an inch, especially towards Blacksburg and Wytheville, with perhaps lesser totals north of Roanoke towards Lexington. Lynchburg and Southside will likely only see a few flurries, while the Roanoke Valley may get a small coating of snow in some areas.  Be careful out there, especially on the bridges and overpasses.
