Vinton Police say they’re investigating a heavy theft.
Officers tell us someone took a piano from a church!
The piano in question belongs to Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church. It’s a Roland upright digital piano. The church tells police that the piano is four feet tall, five feet wide, and weighs between 400-500 pounds. It also has a light colored oak wood cabinet.
Investigators also say the matching piano bench are missing along with a black steel caster rack that the piano was seated on.
Investigators think it was stolen between April 15-17th.
