Investigators say they know where the fire started.  It sparked on the top of the back deck, next to the house in the 5500 block of Wipledale Avenue.

Firefighters say initial damage estimates are $100,000.  They do not if the home will be declared a total loss, or rebuilt.

Yesterday before 5, my mom’s best friend’s house burned down....

The house is most likely going to be a total loss…

I don’t know if you all have ever met anyone quite like Linda Arthur, who lived in the house with her two kids, her parents, & her pets.

She is an amazing woman…

I have had the privilege of knowing her & working with her at my godmother’s daycare for a long time.  She is the most giving & loving woman I can imagine…

I cannot begin to express how wonderful she is with the kids at our daycare…
I cannot begin to tell you all how smart she is & how caring she is to everyone she knows…
I cannot begin to explain how she would give anything she could to anyone that she loves…

Her children are beautiful, blessed & talented in many ways…

I’m not asking you all for money, for time, or even for attention,
I am merely asking for your thoughts & prayers for this wonderful family…
Who I, my mother & our family love very much…

You never realize what you may have till its gone…

If you’d like to help past prayers & thoughts, for right now the American Red Cross is providing shelter & clothes…
After tomorrow night, we don’t know…
Thank you for listening…

Much love,

Krissy Scholetzky
