“Salem Ridge Apartments” is now in the hands of a new owner.
The apartment complex has seen problems in the past because it is in an area prone to flooding.
Three companies: Sage Residential, Langley Properties, and Northstar properties closed the purchase of the complex Thursday afternoon.
No word on the cost of the transaction.
The companies plan to invest 4 million dollars into the complex.
Renovations will begin as early as next Wednesday.
The complex will be renamed “The Riverwalk at Salem, LLC.
It houses about 900 people.
